The Truth About Our Crazy Life Right Now...

So I haven't stopped blogging, in case anyone noticed or even cared. :) We are just in a super crazy, super busy transition period right now and I don't really even have time to breathe, let alone type up and share all the cute things my cutie does. Here is the 411 on our current status:
1. Trent starts a new job at a Law Firm
2. Trent goes from working 3 day a week to 5 days a week (ouch)
3. Trent goes from working from 9-4 to 6-2. (That is 6:00am, guys. Double ouch)
4. Lauri quits her job
5. Lauri gets new job as a part-time teaching assistant
6. Lauri's old job wants her to stay on a little while longer
7. Lauri's new job ends up not starting for a few weeks anyway so she can't really say "no" to staying on with old job
8. Asher goes to a new babysitter (the first "non-family" member to watch him)
9. Asher stops sleeping at night because mommy is still working full-time, daddy is now working full-time, and he is at a new person's house all day (even though he LOVES his new sitter)
10. Lauri is cranky all day due to lack of sleep because because Asher wakes up all night long and Trent snores all night long because he is so exhausted trying to get used to his new schedule that he COMPLETELY crashes at night

That is why the blog... and the laundry... and the housework... and the grocery shopping... and my sanity are all resting peacefully on the back burner for now. I think we can make it through the next couple of weeks, but the Truth is... you all might want to check in with us once in a while to make sure we haven't lost it completely :)
